Sheikh Faisal bin Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani’s Topsy Turvy was the second winner on the day for trainer Ibrahim Saeed Ibrahim al-Malki, after clinching the Mesaimeer Cup, Class 2 for Thoroughbreds at the QREC on Wednesday. 
The gelding’s second straight victory in as many weeks saw Eduardo Pedroza guide the 6-year-old pick up a fine win over a duo trained by Hadi Nasser Rashid al-Ramzani – Karraar, ridden by Tomas Lukasek, and Vitally Important, helmed by Faleh Bughanaim. Topsy Turvy who was fresh off a C&D win in 1800m The Late Abdulaziz Al Fuhaid Cup from a week ago, finished a length and a half ahead of the runner up.

PUREBRED ARABIAN HANDICAP (90 & below)
Alban Elie Marie De Mieulle’s second winner of the evening was Diese, who has not finished outside the frame this season. Jean Baptiste Hamel guided the Olivier Materne owned 5-year-old to his second victory this season in a thrilling finish that saw Marc Lerner guide Mansoor Mesfer al-Hajri trained Haddaj Dukhan to his seventh runner-up finish this season. Talented Qatari jockey Faleh Bughanaim helmed Hossin Mohammad Ashour trained Bsheer to third place. 

THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Class 4) (85 & below)
Champion Trainer Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi and Champion Jockey Harry Bentley combined well for the third victory when Musical Terms won the 1800m race with ease. With a confident ride by Bentley, guiding the gelding in the silks of Khalil Mansoor Khalil al-Shahwani, the 4-year-old gelding finished five lengths ahead of the competition to win the race. 
Deborah Amanda Clare Mountain’s ward, Technicolour, finished second under Qatari jockey Faleh Bughanaim, while another Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi ward Perigee completed the top three under Tadgh O’Shea.

THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Class 5) (75 & below)
Deborah Amanda Clare Mountain trained Alizoom went one better than his last outing to pick up his first win in Qatar on Wednesday. Helmed by Marc Lerner in the 2000m race, Alizoom, who had finished in the frame five times this season coming into Wednesday’s run, finished in dominant fashion winning with a little under six lengths in hand. Kelly Harrison guided Zuhair Mohsen Zuhair Maki trained Lahdan to a second place finish while Mohammed Riyaz Ibrahim Kasim schooled Abbey Village was third under JP Guillambert.

THOROUGHBRED HANDICAP (Class 5) (75 & below)
Salem Fadgham al-Hajri’s ward, Intenser registered his first victory in Qatar when he topped the six furlong sprint on Wednesday. Ridden by Adnan Hawa, the gelding picked up a close win on his 29th outing in Qatar. 
The 6-year-old finished a quarter of a length ahead of Hadi Nasser Rashid al-Ramzani trained Acclaimed Dancer, ridden by Tomas Lukasek, while Hamad Ahmed al-Malki al-Jehani schooled Lawless Louis completed the top three under Jean Baptiste Hamel.

PUREBRED ARABIAN MAIDEN PLATE (Fillies & Mares) (4yo-6yo)
Umm Qarn’s Jowharat bounced built on her sixth place finish over C&D two months ago with a win in the 1700m run on dirt. Helmed by Stephan Ladjadj, the 4-year-old comfortably finished ahead of the competition, beating Pierre Jehan Andre Deymonaz schooled Konouz, with Marc Lerner astride, with two and a half lengths win hand at the line. Harry Bentley guided Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi’s ward, Legtaifiya to a third place finish.

LOCAL PUREBRED ARABIAN MAIDEN PLATE (4-6yo)
The owner-trainer duo of Khalifa Bin Sheail al-Kuwari and Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi had a one two in the third race of the day with Harry Bentley guiding Saab Al Manal to a thrilling victory in the six furlong sprint. 
The 6-year-old bounced back well from a disappointing finish from a month ago. Having dropped back from 2000m, the horse edged out stablemate Munaawashat, ridden by JP Guillambert, by a short head for the win. 
Alban Elie Marie De Mieulle trained Aneeq was third on his debut under Stephan Ladjadj’s ride.

LOCAL THOROUGHBRED MAIDEN PLATE (Div 2)
Mohamed Abdulla Abdulmalik owned War King made a winning debut to his career topping the six furlong sprint in dominant fashion. Trained by Ibrahim Saeed Ibrahim al-Malki and ridden in the race by Eduardo Pedroza, the 3-year-old colt beat Mohamed Riyaz Ibrahim Kasim saddled Al Khazileah, with Almotasem al-Balushi astride, with a little more than nine lengths to spare. Mohamed Khaled Elahmed trained Maleekat Sabaa, helmed by Jean Baptiste Hamel, missed out on the runner up spot by a head.

LOCAL THOROUGHBRED MAIDEN PLATE (Div 1)
After four runner-up finishes under her belt, Khalifa Bin Sheail al-Kuwari’s Rawdat Al Khail finally shed her maiden status in the six furlong card opener. 
Ridden by Harry Bentley for Jassim Mohammed Ghazali Jahromi, the 4-yaer-old raced to a smashing eight and a half-length victory ahead of the competition. Owaida Salem Mohammed al-Hajri trained Sharhan Azzam, helmed by Tomas Lukasek, and Mohamed Salama Salim Ashour schooled Al Rayyan Park, ridden by Marc Lerner, finished second and third respectively.
