The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested a person of Asian nationality as he tried to make purchases with forged credit cards from some shops in the country, the Ministry of Interior said in a report on Thursday.
The accused was arrested and a number of counterfeit credit cards, a card programming device and a laptop containing data of stolen cards, were seized from him. 
During interrogation, the arrested person confessed to the offence he was accused of.
He was referred to the authorities concerned for further legal proceedings, the MoI report added.
