Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa), in co-operation with the Ministry of Public Health, has hosted a daylong awareness campaign as part of World Glaucoma Week. 
The session was organised by the Health, Safety and Environment department of Kahramaa under the theme ‘How to overcome glaucoma and other eye disorders’. 
Besides an awareness campaign on the eye disease, the day’s proceedings also featured tests to check the eyesight of employees and eye pressure.  The corporation also carried out a campaign on the issue through social media, according to a statement it issued yesterday. World Glaucoma Week is observed between March 11 and 18 around the world.
