HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah met yesterday with Burkina Faso Defence Minister Jean Claude Bouda and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and means of enhancing them as well as enhancing efforts in combating terrorism and extremism. Senior officers of the Armed Forces
attended the meeting.
HE al-Attiyah also met yesterday separately with Mongolian Minister of State for Defence Nyamaagiin Enkhbold, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Minister of Defence Marina Pendes, Lebanonese Minister of Defence Yaacoub Sarraf, Mali Minister of Defence Tieman Hubert Coulibaly, Head of the International Military Co-operation Department of the Defence of Belarus Major-General Oleg Voinov, and head of the Russian federal military and technical co-operation department Dimitri Shogayev.
The meetings, held on the sidelines of Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2018), discussed relations between Qatar and each of Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lebanon, Mali, Belarus and the Russian Federation and means of strengthening and developing them in the defence and military fields.
