HE the Minister of Transport and Communications Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti yesterday met Kuwait’s State Minister for Housing Affairs and State Minister for Services Affairs Dr Jenan Mohsen Ramadan. The two officials discussed areas of co-operation in the fields of transport, communications, ports and aviation and various ways and means of strengthening co-operation in those areas in coming years. They discussed the potential investment opportunities available in both countries and a number of matters of common interest between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Kuwait’s ambassador to Qatar Hafiz Mohamed al-Ajmi and a number of senior officials from Qatar’s Ministry of Transport and Communications and representatives of the transport and communications sectors, as well as the delegation accompanying the Kuwaiti dignitary. Dr Jenan Ramadan also paid a visit to Qatar Postal Services Company and was briefed on its development plans that aim to provide better services via the deployment of latest technologies.
