The 7th Halal Qatar Festival, which opened yesterday at the southern area of Katara – the Cultural Village, features educational and art workshops, as well as fun-filled activities, aimed at preserving the Qatari heritage. The annual event hosts unique competitions to raise public awareness on the old and best practices in livestock breeding, which forms part of the Qatari culture.
