Qatar Duty Free (QDF), the Official Duty Free Partner of the annual Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, congratulated Eddie Pepperell on his victory in the tournament, which took place at the Doha Golf Club from 22-25 February. The tournament brought talented golfers from around the world to Doha, including top players Oliver Fisher of England, Darren Clarke of Northern Ireland and Paul Lawrie of Scotland.

English golfer Eddie Pepperell walked away from the tournament with the top trophy and the coveted prize fund, beating compatriot Oliver Fisher to win the Qatar Masters and claim his first European Tour title in his 129th event.

"What a day," Pepperell told the European Tour website. "Oli made it really tough and I made it tough for myself at the end there with the second shot at 18. I felt good all day, I felt comfortable. I didn't feel that comfortable with my swing but I was in a great place mentally and I kept telling myself that I'm going to win this."

Head of Qatar Duty Free, Mr. Thabet Musleh, said: “Qatar Duty Free is thrilled to have once again sponsored one of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments here in Doha and we are delighted to congratulate Eddie Pepperell, winner of this year’s Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. It was an absolute privilege for Qatar Duty Free’s Pro-Am Team to be able to play with and learn from Eddie Pepperell. We also look forward to announcing the winner of our Instagram photo competition from the Qatar Duty Free photobooth in the public village on 14th March.”
