Prominent Qatari jeweller and Qatari Business Women Association president Aisha Alfardan has said the good exposure received by Qatari youngsters would augment the jewellery market and similar activities.
Speaking to Gulf Times yesterday, the Qatari business professional said Qataris, especially youngsters, are travelling far and wide and bringing in a lot of creativity, innovations, and vibrancy into the business sector in the country.
“The exposure that such youngsters are receiving from many a place where they travel is contributing considerably to the growth of businesses in Qatar these days,” she said while recalling the efforts being made by her generation.
“I’m sure that their entry into such areas as the businesses of premium, high end luxury watches and new generation advertisements would bring in a lot of new experiences and enterprise to the Qatari market.”
Every visit undertaken abroad is giving a new learning experience to the country, added Aisha.
While answering another query, the entrepreneur said holding of expos of the magnitude of Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE) would go a long way in attracting more and more business visitors to the country and such initiatives would directly and indirectly contribute to the growth of the Qatar economy.
The businesswoman also expressed hope that more and more jewellers from across the world would participate in the DJWE editions in future as loyal Qatari customers have supported the event with enormous patronage all along.
“The presence of so many jewellers from different parts of the world has demonstrated the immense faith the industry has in Qatar jewellery market,” she added.
