The Centre for Strategic Studies has signed a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) with Al Jazeera Centre for Studies, the Ministry of
Defence (MoD) announced yesterday. Staff Maj Gen Dr Hamad Mohamed
al-Marri, commander of the Centre for Strategic Studies, attended the
signing. The MoU envisages co-operation in the field of strategic
studies, leadership training programmes, and organisation of events such
as workshops, forums and conferences within and outside Qatar, the
Directorate of Defence Communication at the MoD said in a statement.
Staff Maj Gen Dr al-Marri expressed satisfaction at signing the MoU,
which also seeks to benefit both sides through the efforts and work of
experts and researchers from the two organisations.
