Jumbo Electronics celebrated the National Sport Day at the Al Fereej Sports Complex in Al Wukair. Over 500 employees participated in the event that blurred the hierarchical lines within the organisation to promote sportsmanship.
Teams from various departments competed in cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, tug-of-war, relay, carom, chess, table tennis, and arm wrestling. Winning teams received trophy and cash awards. Special individual trophies were also awarded for man of the series and other recognitions.
Sajed Jassim Mohamed Sulaiman, vice chairman and managing director of Video Home & Electronic Centre and Jumbo Electronics said: “I congratulate all the participants on this important national event which encourages us to lead a healthier lifestyle through sports and also builds a spirit of comradery among all our employees.”
The activities were supported by LG OLED TV. A mini marathon was held on the premises championing LG OLED TV’s perfect colour on perfect black.
