Kartikeya Sarabhai (second right), trustee of the Sabarmati Ashram Preservation and Memorial Trust, presents Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a memento as his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau and their children Hadrien, Xavier and Ella-Grace look on during their visit to Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad yesterday. Also seen are Elabehn Bhatt, chairperson of Trust (third left) and Jayeshbhai Patel (fourth left), one of the co-founders of the NGO Manav Sadhna. It was from this Ashram that Mahatma Gandhi led the Dandi march in 1930 to protest against the British Salt Law. Trudeau and his family are visiting India on a week-long official trip.
