The Embassy of Qatar to Nepal recently celebrated 7th Qatar National Sport Day (QNSD) with the Nepal Football Association (NFA). Yousuf Bin Mohammed al-Hail, Ambassador of Qatar to Nepal, officials of the embassy and NFA team gathered to mark the QNSD.
The Embassy of Qatar marked the day with the aim of ensuring the achievement of the desired goals, in particular to raise awareness of the importance of sport for different age groups.
Ambassador al-Hail said that the embassy was keen to encourage Nepalese society to have exercise in all of its different forms to have a healthy atmosphere.
He also praised His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani for inspiring the nation and his participation in the QNSD events.
He also extended his best wishes to NFA team. “It’s my pleasure to celebrate the QNSD with NFA .Nepal has good players .If the team gets support from the government and people I am sure the team will do very well”.
