Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani attended the opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Games being held in Pyeongchang, South Korea, on Friday. HE Sheikh Joaan also attended the dinner banquet hosted by Qatar’s ambassador to South Korea, Mohamed bin Abdullah al-Dehaimi. Also in attendance were Olympic Council of Asia President Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahad, Qatar Football Association President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad al-Thani and South Korea Football Association President Chung Mong-gyu.
