The ‘Plant Your Country’ project, implemented by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) Public Gardens Department jointly with Al Faisal Without Borders Foundation for Charity Works, achieved substantial results during the 2017-2018 season. The programme saw the participation of 30 public and private schools, where students learned the basics of home farming and how to raise plants from seeds. The aim is to encourage the students to produce their own food.
