To celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th Independence Day, Commercial Bank has announced a special offer for money transfers made to bank accounts in Sri Lanka using Commercial Bank’s “simple, secure, and convenient” mobile and Internet banking service.
The online remittance service is available for transfers to 27 banks in Sri Lanka and customers can transfer money that is usually received in less than 60 seconds, the bank has said in a statement.
Commercial Bank’s competitive exchange rates will apply for a limited period, until February 15. The funds transfer is free but standard correspondent bank charges from the receiving bank will still apply.
Commercial Bank head of Consumer Banking Amit Sah said, “I wish all Sri Lankans a happy Independence Day. Sri Lankans can send money home at any time with funds being credited almost instantly through our innovative digital platforms and to celebrate Sri Lanka’s 70th Independence Day. Our standard transfer fee is free.”
To start a transfer, customers can log in to Internet banking or download Commercial Bank’s mobile banking App from their App store.
Commercial Bank’s online remittance service is available for transfers to 27 banks in Sri Lanka.
