The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced that it will continue its patient registration process for Muaither Health Centre, which is expected to open in the first quarter of this year.
The registration includes the residents of Muaither 55, Abu Sidra, Abu Al Hiran, Al Muraad and Al Sailiya, as well as those registered in the Abu Nakhla, Rayyan and Abu Bakr Al Siddiq centres who wish to transfer their files to the new Muaither Health Centre.
The centre includes a gym, swimming pool, massage and steam services, sauna, and specialised clinics equipped with the latest technology, Director of Western Region at the Primary Care Foundation, Dr Hiam al-Sada said. Al-Sada added that the Muaither Health Centre provides comprehensive health services such as: vaccination clinic, non-transitional diseases clinic, antenatal care clinic, post-natal clinics and healthy women, health education for women’s and children’s health, sonar for pregnant women, proper child clinic and quitting clinic, as well as laboratories, pharmacy, radiology, dental clinic, therapeutic feeding clinic, physiotherapy, early screening services for breast and intestinal cancer, as well as ophthalmology clinic, optics clinic, nose and throat clinic and dermatology clinic.
On the other hand, the Primary Health Care Corporation revealed a decrease in the number of complaints in 2017 compared to 2016, where last year the corporation received about 690 formal complaints, about 750 complaints in 2016, as a result of the implementation of new initiatives, including the system of classification of patients and the system appointments that are booked by Hayak service. - QNA
