Tournament director Saad al-Mohannadi said the competition is a main tool in the development of young Qatari players as it provides the best chances of coming against leading international players.
Al-Mohannadi pointed out that the Qatari team participating in the tournament consists off three players; Hamad al-Ameri, Sayed Azlan and Omair Zaman. He expressed hope that the Qatari players will achieve good results in the tournament.
