Emir condoles with Afghanistan president
His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, His Highness the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani sent yesterday cables of condolences to Afghanistan President Mohamed Ashraf Ghani on the victims of a car bomb explosion that took place in the centre of the capital Kabul, praying to Allah to grant the dead mercy and to grant a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack. The Emir also expressed strong condemnation of the heinous crime which contradicts with all religious and human principles.

Qatar condemns Kabul explosion
Qatar has strongly condemned a car bomb explosion in the centre of the Afghan capital, Kabul, which killed at least 95 people and wounded about 158. In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons. It expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the suicide blast. The bomber used an ambulance filled with explosives for the attack.
