Masraf Al Rayan has launched the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia promotion, in collaboration with Visa, exclusively for its Visa cardholders.
Visa is the official partner of the FIFA World Cup and a global leader in digital payments. The offer covers every purchase on Masraf Al Rayan’s Visa credit and Eqtisadi cards for local and international transactions. It is also valid for only international transactions on Masraf Al Rayan’s Visa debit and Pay & Go cards, the bank has said in a press statement.
The first winner, Rashid Saleh al-Marri, was announced at a draw held under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy on January 8. The other three draws will be held on February 8, March 8 and April 8, along with a mega winner draw for the quarter-final, which will include all entries from the beginning of the campaign until March 31.
The offer is intended to give five cardholders “great opportunities to be part of live 2018 FIFA World Cup matches in addition to a great sightseeing experience in Russia”, the statement notes. The prize package includes flight and match tickets for two, hotel accommodation, a group activity and transportation to and from the stadium.
A Visa cardholder will receive an entry for every purchase/transaction he/she makes using Masraf Al Rayan’s Visa cards during the promotion period. The more transactions he/she makes, the more entries one will get and the higher the chances will have of winning a trip for two to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15.
