Nepali Business Association (NBA) Qatar has recently elected Mahendra Chamlagai during an election process to have its new working committee.
Further RK Sharma, Narendra Bhatt, Raj Regmi, Samir Maske and Gobinda KC were elected as vice presidents of the working committee. Likewise, Sagar Nepal was elected as general secretary, Umesh Adhikari as secretary, Ramesh Bhatta as assistant secretary, Chudamani Kari as treasurer and Prakash Koirala as co-treasurer.
Nabin Satyal, Dr Nitesh Aryal, Shyam Bhusal, Abdul Basid, Rabi Gurung, Ram Shrestha, Bikash Parsai, Purna Pokhariya, Sunil Ghimire, and Madhukar Rijal are new members of the working committee of the NBA Qatar. Similarly Dr Dev Kaji, Dangol Patron, TB Karki, Saroj Pokheral, Pradip Jha, and Parshu Ram Dahal are new advisers of NBA Qatar.
The NBA was set up by a group of Nepali businessman recently. The motto of NBA Qatar is to provide a forum for the promotion of trade, commerce, manufacturing industry and trading between Nepal and Qatar in addition to promoting investment in both country on a bilateral basis.
The newly elected NBA Qatar president said the organisation aim was to provide unity between the Nepali businessmen in Qatar. He said the organisation will support to build the people to people relationship between Nepal and Qatar. He also added that the organisation will create the proper environment for the investment in Nepal in various field including hydroelectricity, agriculture, health, and education. He added Nepal was a country of choice as a destination for tourism, trade and investment. Both Nepal and Qatar can boost their economic relations in different areas.
