HE the Public Prosecutor Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, who is currently on a visit to Washington, held  separate meetings with US Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, member of the Senate’s Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism, and US House of Representatives member Will Hurd, who is on the House’s Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee.
The meetings discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and the United States and the ways to develop them.
Qatar’s ambassador to the US Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad al-Thani attended the meetings.

College to hold 
airshow at 
Udeid Airbase


The Ministry of Defence’s directorate of moral affairs announced that Leader Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah College will hold an airshow at Udeid Airbase from January 21 to 23 from 8:30am
to 10:30am at an altitude of 10,000 feet and a radius of 15 miles.
The college will also hold an airshow during the graduation ceremony at Udeid Airbase on January 24 from 7:30am to 11:30am at an altitude of 10,000 feet and a radius of 15 miles.
The directorate has cautioned visitors to the area.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guyana Carl Greenidge has met the non-resident ambassador of Qatar to Guyana Mohamed bin Ahmad al-Hayki. 
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of developing them, in addition to matters of common concern.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay Rodolfo Gustavo Nin Novoa has met the ambassador of Qatar Mohamed Hassan al-Jaber.
Talks during the meeting, which was held in capital Montevideo, dealt with bilateral relations and means of enhancing them, in addition to a number of issues of common concern.
