Hilal Mohamed (12th) and Madson (65th) scored for Al Khor, while Jouhen Beitsoun (27th) and Al Yezeedi (90+2) found the mark for Al Ahli.
Al-Yazeedi charged into the Al Khor box in the seventh minute, but his low shot was smartly blocked by goalkeeper Baba Djibril. They soon opened the scoring through a spectacular effort by Hilal when the 24-year-old winger curled in a left-footed drive from 25 yards out that beat Yazan Naim at the Al Ahli goal.
Beitsoun drew level for Al Ahli taking advantage of a blunder by Djibril. Majed Mohamed, after collecting the ball from an indirect corner kick, slipped a cross to Beitsoun who was beaten to the ball by goalkeeper. But Djibril fumbled and the ball slipped out of his hands. Beitsoun was quick to swivel around and tap it into the net. Al Khor surged ahead for a second time when Madson tapped a loopy cross from the right and fired home for his seventh goal of the season. The stocky player again darted into the Al Ahli box three minutes from time, but his powerful shot was blocked by Yazan. Al-Yezeedi then fired a left-footed drive past Djibril in stoppage time to enable the home side to share points.
