Qatar, Indonesia in talks to boost economic ties
HE the Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani met yesterday with Indonesian Minister of State Owned Enterprises Rini Soemarno. The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations and discussed the co-operation aspects especially in the economic, trade and investment fields and ways to develop them. Qatar and Indonesia hold strong economic and trade relations which were positively reflected in the trade volume which reached nearly QR1.8bn in 2016.

Souq Al Wakrah set tohost Spring Festival
The second edition of the Spring Festival of Souq Al Wakrah will kick off today. The festival’s activities, organised by the Organising Committee of the Private Engineering Office, will continue until February 1. They include many artistic activities and entertainment shows and games for children. All preparations, such setting up circus and games for adults and children, are in place. There will be a space for electromechanical games and other intelligence games, as well as a mini-area, with characters that entertain children.
