A man who admitted to being affected by illegal drugs crashed his car into the second-floor office of a dentist in the Californian city of Santa Ana early Sunday, local media reported.
Police were called at 5.25am to find a white sedan partially wedged in the building, police told the LA Times.
The driver had been speeding when he hit a raised median strip which launched the car into the air and through the external wall of the building.
Firefighters got the occupants out of the car while it was still wedged in the building.
A specialised truck was then brought from Los Angeles to extract the sedan, the Times reported.
No further details were provided on the driver, nor if charges were pending, and the police had not issued at official statement.
