He said that he had learnt many lessons from the lecture. He noted that the most important point in the lecture was that the people of Pakistan needed to have capacity and character building that would finally lead to better nation building.
In the beginning, PAS-Q President Muhammad Abrar Hussain delivered his welcome address and thanked the audience and the speaker. He said that it was the second lecture by Syed Bilal Qutab in Doha. He was invited again as the community here wanted to listen to him.
In his address, PAS-Q General Secretary Adeel Akbar said that their group has a long history of inviting prominent and shining personalities from Pakistan to address the community in Qatar. He said that it is the 28th such lecture organised by the PAS-Q in Doha. He said that Syed Bilal Qutab would also have interactions with students of Pakistani schools during his four-day-long stay in Qatar.
Talking to Community, Qutab said, “Whenever I am in Qatar, I feel at home. I feel as if I am in Pakistan. There are two reasons for these feelings. First, there is a big and strong Pakistani community in Qatar. They love and admire me whenever I am here. I thank the PAS-Q for as they have invited me a second time.
“The second reason is that Pakistan has faced a lot of challenges in recent times. Currently, Qatar is also facing a difficult time that is very unfortunate. But I believe and want to share my feelings that Qatar will come out of the blockade issue successfully because challenges make countries stronger. Qatar [is well on its way to] developing self-sufficiency.”
