Ooredoo has announced that it is the silver sponsor of Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2018, which will be held from January 1 to 6.
The event will take place at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex and feature a host of top tennis stars, including former world No 1 Novak Djokovic, Dominic Thiem, Tomas Berdych, Richard Gasquet and Fernando Verdasco.
2018 marks the 26th anniversary of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open and the tournament is the first of the season, offering players a chance to prepare for the 2018 Grand Slams - including the Australian Open, scheduled to begin around two weeks later in Melbourne.
As the silver sponsor of the event, Ooredoo will “provide media areas and offices with world-class global connectivity, and support visitors and fans with incredible 3G, 4G and 4G+ broadband services on the Ooredoo Supernet”, the company has said in a statement.
Ooredoo will also host an Ooredoo booth at the venue, offering visitors a host of services to can stay connected with loved ones 24/7.

Tickets for the 2018 Qatar ExxonMobil Open are currently on sale online (www.qatartennis.org) and via ExxonMobil Open booths at City Center Doha, Landmark, Lagoona, Villaggio and Mall of Qatar.
Ooredoo’s support for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open is “in line with the company’s CSR strategy of promoting a broad range of sports and healthy living initiatives throughout the year, as the company encourages people to get fit”, the statement added.
