A second Palestinian was killed Friday in clashes with Israeli troops along the Gaza border, the Palestinian health ministry said, in new protests against US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

"A second man, whose identity is still unknown, died in clashes east of Gaza City," the coastal enclave's health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said, noting the man was shot in the chest.
A 24-year-old was killed in similar clashes in northern Gaza earlier Friday.
