Katara Hospitality, a leading global hotel owner, developer and operator in the country, is holding a diverse range of activities to mark Qatar National Day.
“The annual celebration will best showcase the Qatari spirit and tradition, which accentuates the identity and history of the country and highlights the ideas and visionary aspirations that Qatar was founded on,” the company said in a statement.
Dubbed as ‘Promise of Prosperity and Glory’, Katara Hospitality will celebrate this occasion in distinctive style by creating themed hotel key cards for all its Qatar-based hotels.
These will include The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Sharq Village & Spa, Doha Marriott Hotel, Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, M?venpick Hotel Doha, Sealine Beach, Simaisma, The Avenue, Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, and Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels.
Katara Hospitality will also exhibit “the country’s impressive progress” through a 3D mapping animation projected on the façade of Sheraton.
The short animated story will highlight key moments in the country’s development, and showcase Katara Hospitality as the country’s flagship hospitality organisation.
The company has been supporting Qatar’s long term economic vision through its investment in peerless hotels in Qatar and abroad.
Katara Hospitality celebrated this joyous occasion on December 14 at the company’s headquarters with an event for employees and hotel general managers, highlighting Qatar’s rich culture and heritage.
The company’s headquarters was transformed into a haven of national colours, bringing the spirit of the nation to life with activities synonymous with local culture.
“It is an honour to celebrate the hard work, tireless dedication and uncompromising values that have inspired the continued growth and ongoing successes of our great nation of Qatar today,” Katara Hospitality chairman HE Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani said.
