Ooredoo announced yesterday that it will be hosting Paris Saint-Germain star players, who will be visiting Qatar as part of their annual Qatar Winter Tour, in a special event that will see hundreds of fans flocking from across the country.
The Paris Saint-Germain team will fly to Doha following their match with SM Caen at the Parc des Princes on December 20.
In Doha, the players will stay and train at the Aspire Zone and will take part in a host of activities organised by Ooredoo. Upon their arrival to Doha, Paris Saint-Germain players will first visit the Ooredoo Tower in West Bay before heading to the Sheraton Park, where fans will be waiting to see them and getting ready to participate in a range of exciting football-related activities.
Ooredoo has also confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain players will appear on stage to greet the crowd at the event, as well as to meet a handful of lucky fans from the company’s upcoming social media competition, which will be announced soon.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “We’re very excited to be organising an event where the ever-popular Paris Saint-Germain team can meet and speak to their fans in Qatar.
“This is a great opportunity for the club and players to help inspire our next-generation of football stars. We hope the team has an amazing time in Qatar and ask all Paris Saint-Germain super-fans to stay tuned to our social media platforms, as we will be announcing a special competition in the next few days.”
During their visit to Qatar, the Paris Saint-Germain club will engage with their 50mn fans on social media, sharing their experience and showing the country’s landmarks.
