HE Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met with French Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly during his official visit to Paris. Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations in the military fields and means of enhancing them, as well as the latest developments regarding the projects of the Qatari Armed Forces.
The two sides discussed ways to promote co-operation in cyber security, which receives great attention from the senior leadership in the Qatari Armed Forces.
The meeting also touched on the current situation in the Gulf region and its repercussions on the region, in addition to the Syrian and Libyan crises and the war in Yemen.
