The outcome of the high-level meeting to prepare for the Economic and Social Council Forum on Follow-up to Financing for Development 2018, hosted by Doha for two days, will be a new platform for the success of the efforts to implement the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi has said.
Speaking at the closing session of the meeting, al-Hammadi stressed that the continued support of the State of Qatar for the efforts to achieve the objectives of the international community is based on its foreign policy of serious and sincere participation in support of the goals of the United Nations.
Al-Hammadi said: “Doha is proud to be associated with many international and regional conferences and  declarations, as it has always opened its doors and the hearts of its people to be a platform for love, peace and communication with the world.”
The closing session of the high-level meeting to prepare for the Economic and Social Council Forum on Follow-up to Financing for Development in 2018 witnessed the declaration of 10 messages reached through the two-day panel discussions and round tables.
