Ooredoo is the official telecommunications sponsor of the International Conference on Primary Health Care, which is being held in Doha until today under the patronage of HE Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, and the Ministry of Public Health.
The conference brings together speakers and experts from around the world to share knowledge around the theme “Healthy Communities and a Brighter Future” and includes sessions, exhibitions and workshops.
As a key sponsor, the company is represented by a delegation of Ooredoo employees who are attending the event and hosting an Ooredoo booth that demonstrates the company’s growing healthcare solutions, according to a press statement.
The Ooredoo booth showcases a range of available products in Qatar, such as CloudClinik — Ooredoo’s Electronic Medical Record solution, Intrihealth— a solution for X-ray image sharing, SuperWire — an assistive technology solution designed to better care for disabled/elderly patients who require monitoring, and more. Ooredoo is a key supporter of Qatar National Vision 2030 and is working to develop its own Digital Health Strategy that aims to enrich people’s lives through smart home solutions connected to the fastest networks.
An example of this strategy in action is Ooredoo’s ongoing partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation to develop a remote care service for diabetes management and long-term patient conditions.
This solution is based on Ooredoo’s Fora A Telehealth service, which will also be available for demonstration at the event.
Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, director of PR and Corporate Communications, said: “Ooredoo continues to invest in the latest technologies to make sure Qatar and its people enjoy the most innovative healthcare solutions in the world. We’re happy to support this important conference and showcase our solutions to participants and visitors. We wish everyone attending the conference the very best of luck and hope amazing results and partnerships are achieved.”
