Doha Bank, one of the largest commercial banks in Qatar, has bagged a key trophy at the ‘MEA (Middle East and Africa) Enterprise and IT Architecture Awards 2017’.
The award in the technical category of ‘Future IT’ (Emerging Technologies) came in view of the bank illustrating the adoption of emerging technologies in IT Infrastructure for providing and ‘Always-On’ software defined data centres using enterprise architecture.
The coveted globally recognised iCMG Architecture Awards of Excellence are given to companies who have successfully used IT architecture in achieving their business goals.
The awards were announced at ICMG’s Architecture World Summit in the US on September 11-12, 2017.
“Doha Bank has been at the forefront of developing leading banking solutions for our valued customers locally and internationally.
The adoption of Emerging Technologies and implementing IT transformation initiatives provides Doha Bank a platform in building Digital Eco Systems,” its group chief executive Dr R Seetharaman said.
