The access point from Uhud Street to Al Luqta Street will remain closed for six weeks from Saturday in order to complete the construction of new eastbound lanes on the Dukhan Highway East project.
The planned road change is located between Tilted Intersection (former Tilted Roundabout) and Al Beday Street and has been designed in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
The access will remain closed until December 31. As shown on the map, road users travelling from Uhud Street who need to access the eastbound lanes on Al Luqta Street are advised to follow the service road to Al Beday Street, turn right and continue straight towards Makkah Street.
At the intersection of Al Beday Street and Makkah Street, motorists should perform a U-turn and head back to Al Luqta Street.
