His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani called on Wednesday for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer on Thursday, 20 Safar 1439 AH, corresponding to November 9, 2017.
The prayer is in line with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) when there is a lack of rainfall.
The Emir will perform Istisqa prayer at Al Wajba prayer area along with crowds of citizen worshippers.
