His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday offered his condolences to Moldovan President Igor Dodon on the death of Moldovan ambassador to Qatar Valeriu Tihonov. During a phone call the Emir and the Moldovan president reviewed the bilateral relations and ways to enhance them. The Moldovan president thanked the Emir for the condolences and praised Qatar’s support to Moldova. He also expressed his support for Qatar under the unjust siege. The Emir thanked the Moldovan leader for his country’s solidarity with Qatar.
