An FM Radio for the country's Malayali expatriate community, Malayalam 98.6 FM, will be formally inaugurated on Tuesday at 9am by Indian ambassador P Kumaran. Regular service would be aired from Tuesday itself.
The radio station's programme head Abdul Gafoor told Gulf Times that the broadcast will be between 5am and 11pm. The radio would have daily entertainment programmes, including music, current affairs, talk shows on a host of topics featuring community leaders, programmes for women and children among others, he said.
"Malayalam 98.6 FM broadcast will be available across Qatar," Gafoor added.
