Don MacIntyre and Howard Menad teamed up to emerge victorious in the
golf tournament organised by Qatar Golf Lovers at the Doha Golf Club
over the weekend.
As many as 52 golfers participated in the tournament, which was
sponsored by LRT Project, and was played in a two-men scramble format.
Jamie Davis-Cory Carson were runners up while Yohann Pedder and
Cherehzade Pedder won the ‘best gross’ prize. David Brazeau and Aaron
Lee were the runners up in the ‘best gross’ category.
Mario Quintina won the ‘closest to rope’, Arnab Dutta won the ‘longest
drive’, Jonathan Flint won the ‘longest putt’ and Frazer Cockburn won
the ‘closest to pin’ awards. Special prizes were won by John Rodney,
Glen Dixon, C K Krishnan and Albert Sanfeliu.
Jean-Dominique Lucas, Project Manager of Losail LRT Project hosted a
prize distribution function and dinner for all golfers and gave away
prizes to the winners. LRT project director Nicolas Dansette also
attended the function.
