Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani has sent a verbal message to the Minister of Health and Acting Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the Republic of Mauritius Dr Mohamed Anwar Husnoo. The message was conveyed by Qatar’s non-resident ambassador to Mauritius Yousuf bin Mohammed al-Mahmoud, during a meeting with the Mauritian Minister.


Minister meets US official

HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari has met with president of US National Academy of Medicine Dr Victor Dzau, on the sidelines of the 3rd Qatar Patient Safety Week, which kicked off yesterday morning. The Minister also met with representatives of the sponsors of the 3rd Qatar Patient Safety Week, separately. A number of topics of mutual interest were discussed during the meetings.


Mercedes-Benz E-Class 2017 model recalled
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, has announced the recall of Mercedes-Benz E-Class model of 2017 because the oil feed line to the exhaust gas turbo chargers may reveal micro perforations (holes).
The MEC said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicles’ defects and repair them.
The MEC said that it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.
