ISO is one of the most important organisations working in the field of issuing international standards, in addition to other activities related to standardisation processes. In this regard, ISO issues international standards through its international committees, which consist of representatives of the competent authorities in the government sectors and non-governmental organisations through national standards bodies.
Some of the important versions of the standards issued are ISO 9000 series, ISO 14000 series and ISO 22000 series.
