His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will address the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly today.
His Highness the Emir is also scheduled to meet and hold talks with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting today.
The Emir has arrived in the US following his highly successful visits to Turkey on Thursday and Germany and France last week.
On Sunday, the Emir attended the opening session of the US-Islamic World Forum in New York.
His Highness the Emir’s meeting with the US president is expected to give a momentum to the efforts to resolve the Gulf crisis that has now entered the fourth month.
