Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), in partnership with Visa International, announced yesterday the launch of an extensive QIB Visa discount programme covering over 850 merchants globally and over 70 merchants in Qatar.
QIB Visa cardholders can visit the bank’s website to view all the participating retailers in Qatar and around the world who offer exclusive discounts on using the QIB cards.
With the new programme, QIB Visa cardholders will get discounts on their room bookings, spas, and salons in a number of premium hotels in Qatar besides many other merchants such as restaurants, shopping, and outlets. QIB Visa cardholders now have access to a list of more than 70 select retailers across the country.
D Anand, general manager of QIB’s Personal Banking Group, said: “Whether our customers are in Qatar looking forward to enjoying a variety of entertainment activities or if they are abroad to discover new adventures, the QIB Visa discount programme will complement their plans by offering them access to a diversity of merchants and retailers in Qatar and around the world.”

The dedicated webpage allows customers to view the list of promotions based on their chosen country and category of QIB Visa card that they hold. The mobile-friendly webpage is easy to access and navigate on smartphones and tablets.
