The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and means of boosting them as well as the developments of the Gulf crisis and the Kuwaiti mediation efforts.
They also discussed the developments in the region, especially in Libya and Syria.
Sheikh Mohamed reiterated Qatar's support for Kuwaiti mediation, stressing the need for dialogue among all parties to resolve the Gulf crisis.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the security co-ordination with the French authorities in the field of exchanging security information and mutual visits of officials from both countries.
The foreign minister affirmed Qatar's keenness to increase its economic co-operation with France in the coming period.
