Qatar University (QU) Human Resources (HR) Department recently held the academic orientation session for new faculty.
About 68 incoming faculty were provided with the necessary information about QU and the university community and services, and discussed faculty-related issues.
The programme agenda featured three presentations titled “QU in brief”, “Student Affairs Services”, “Information Technology Services”, and “Hukoomi Services”. They were delivered respectively by QU Recruitment Section head Afrah al-Athba, QU Office of the vice president for student affairs consultant Wadad El Housseini and Government Portal Department manager Tareq al-Emadi. An interactive lunch for the new arrivals was followed by a bus tour of the QU campus.
