Kantipur Medical Center – established by Nepali entrepreneurs Bikash Prasai and RK Sharma – was inaugurated by Nepali ambassador Prof. Ramesh Koirala recently. The entrepreneurs are hoping that the clinic will benefit Qatar-based Nepalis. The clinic promises to address the communication problems that many Nepalis with weak Arabic and English face in hospitals. General Manager Parsai said the clinic will set up branches in other Gulf countries as well. Sharma said, “We affirm that Kantipur Medical Center is for all Nepalis staying in Qatar. We will continuously need your support, advice and guidance to keep improving our services and offer best healthcare services within reasonable cost.” The sponsor of the clinic is Mohamad Abdulla M K al-Khatter and Essa AlKuwari Community leaders were present during the inauguration function.
