HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani will arrive in the Indian capital of New Delhi on Friday evening, India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced.
During a two-day visit, he will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hold talks with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, leading Indian daily Hindustan Times reported, quoting the MEA.
Qatar is an important trading partner for India in the Gulf region with bilateral trade in 2014-15 amounting to $15.67bn. It is also one of India’s largest suppliers of crude oil.
On Saturday, HE Sheikh Mohamed will told talks with Swaraj, followed by a call on the Prime Minister, the MEA said.
