His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday endorsed Cabinet Decision No 38 of 2017 on establishing the standing committee for the management of marine ports.
The decision shall be implemented and come into force as of the day following the date of its publication in the official gazette.

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday issued Decree No
63 of 2017 approving Qatar’s accession to the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts of Violence at Airports serving International Civil Aviation signed in Montreal on 24/2/1988, the text of which is attached to this decree, and which shall have the power of law according to Article 68 of the Constitution.
The decree is effective starting from its date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
Ministerial
decision
HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi yesterday issued a ministerial decision appointing 185 directors of a number of schools.
Their appointments are as of 27/8/2017.
The decision mandated 10 school directors to manage other schools in addition to the schools they already run, starting from the same above mentioned date.

Real estate transactions in Qatar from August 13 to 17 reached QR199,15,168.
The weekly bulletin released by the real estate registration department at the Ministry of Justice said that the types of real estate traded included plots of land, houses, residential compounds and apartment buildings.
The majority of the trading took place in the Municipalities of Al Rayyan, Doha, Al Da’ayen, Al Khor, Al Dhakira, Al Wakrah, Umm Salal and Al Shamal.
