Qatar national football team have headed to Birmingham to prepare for the last two matches of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup 2018 against Syria and China.
The national team will face Syria on 31 August in Malaysia, and then conclude their matches with the Chinese team on September 5 in Doha in Group A qualifiers, which also includes Iran, South Korea and Uzbekistan.
Qatar is in the fifth position with 7 points.
Qatar will play three friendlies during the external training camp against Leeds on 9 August, Nottingham Forest on 13 August and Andorra national team on 14 August.
The Qatari team will leave for Malaysia on August 29 to play against their Syrian counterpart on 31 and return to Doha on September 1 to face China on 5 September.
The players will return to their clubs on the 6th of September to prepare for the start of the new season.
Spanish coach Felix Sanchez named a 30-man squad for Qatars last two qualifying matches. 

The squad: Hassan al-Haydos, Saad al-Sheeb, Ibrahim Majid, Ali Asad, Salem al-Hajri, Boualem Khoukhi, Pedro Miguel, Musab Khader, Murad Naji, Karim Boudeif, Mohamed Ahmed Bakri, Abdullah Abdel Salam al-Ahraq, Moaz Ali, Ahmad Sufian, Ismail Mohammed, Mahdi Ali, Abdul Aziz Hatem, Ahmad Alaa, Tamim Mohammed al-Muhaizah, Ahmed Abdul Maqsoud, Omar Bari, Ahmad al-Saadi, Abdul Karim Salem al-Ali, Akram Afif, Abdel Karim Hassan, Assem Madbo, Ahmed Yasser, Ahmed Moien, Khaled Mounir and Tariq Salman.
