Violations of press freedom and those against journalists due to the siege imposed on Qatar will be an important part of the report to be submitted by Alliance for Freedom and Dignity (AFD) to the European and other international institutions, Director of Middle East and North Africa at the Alliance for Freedom and Dignity (AFD), Abdelmajid Mrari, said yesterday. During a visit to the Doha Centre for Media Freedom (DCMF) yesterday, the official praised the role being played by the centre in supporting the freedom of opinion and freedom of journalists at the Arab and international levels. Mrari’s visit to DCMF comes within the framework of the probe carried out by AFD to investigate and document the humanitarian impact on ordinary citizens resulting from the siege imposed on Qatar.
