A group of civil society organisations and sympathisers of Qatar held a protest to denounce the unjust siege against the state at the United Nations Plaza in Geneva. The demonstrators raised Qatar’s flags and pictures of its leadership during protest, shouting slogans calling for the lifting of siege and respect of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar. The protest was widely covered by the Swiss media. In El Salvador, Vinicio Cerezo, Secretary-General of the Central American Integration System (SICA), who served as former President of Guatemala from 1986 to1991, has expressed the organisation’s support and solidarity with Qatar to face the media attack and false accusations.
